Appointment Reservations and Pre-Payment Policy
By booking an appointment with Helen at Hair Dreams Boutique Salon, you agree to the following terms:
An initial payment is required to secure your scheduled appointment. This payment ensures that your chosen date and time are reserved exclusively for you. For appointments less than 2 hours the prepayment is $50. For appointments 2 hours and longer the prepayment is $100.
Once your appointment is confirmed, Helen at Hair Dreams Boutique Salon shall reserve the date and time agreed upon, and not schedule any other reservations or accept any other clients for said date and time. This is a time block you have purchased, and it is solely for you.
In the event of a No-Show, Same-Day Cancellation, or Cancellation made outside of the specified time frames specified in our cancellation policy, all payments made will be retained by Helen at Hair Dreams Boutique Salon to compensate for the loss of revenue and business opportunity.
If a client is not comfortable leaving a deposit, they must have a valid credit card on file.
Cancellation Policy
Here at Hair Dreams Boutique Salon, we understand that unavoidable circumstances come up and that, at times, you will need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We are more than happy to cancel or reschedule your appointment at no cost to you when at least 48 hours’ notice has been given before the scheduled appointment time.
When 48 hours’ notice is not given, it is very difficult to fill that reserved time and make up for losses. If 48 hours’ notice is not given, your prepayment is then considered a late cancellation fee.
A client who does not show up to their scheduled appointment and does not communicate in any way is considered a “No-Show Cancellation” and is subject to 100% of the scheduled service fee and risks potentially being refused as a client in the future.
Exceptions are subject to Helen's discretion.
Late Policy
We understand that prior commitments can sometimes run over, or that traffic can be unpredictable. However, to ensure that all clients receive the best possible service, we kindly ask that you plan accordingly and arrive on time for your appointment.
If you are more than 20 minutes late, your stylist may need to shorten/adjust your scheduled service to respect the time of clients who have appointments after yours. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a smooth schedule for everyone.
If your appointment cannot be shortened and this results in your appointment needing to be rescheduled, this would fall under the Same-Day Cancellation circumstance, and subject to the fees imposed therein.
Refunds
At Hair Dreams Boutique Salon, we prioritize guest satisfaction and strive to meet our clients' needs to the best of our abilities. However, please note that there are absolutely no refunds. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and offer complimentary service adjustments if you are not pleased with the outcome. Please inform your stylist within 72 hours of your service to qualify for your complimentary adjustment. Our team is dedicated to addressing any concerns promptly and effectively to ensure you leave our salon feeling confident and satisfied.
Children and Accompanying Guests
We love children and welcome them when they are receiving a service. However, we kindly ask that children not accompany you to the salon if they are not scheduled for an appointment. This includes animals with the exception of service animals. This helps us maintain a relaxing environment for all our clients and ensures that our stylists can focus on providing the best possible service. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Hair Extensions
Hair Extension services include the hair itself and the installation will be performed by Helen at Hair Dreams Boutique Salon. This ensures the quality and integrity of the hair extensions, as well as the overall satisfaction with the final result.
All fees paid are nonrefundable. In the event of an emergency, we are happy to reschedule your installation appointment within a 90-day period.
Please note that if Helen at Hair Dreams Boutique Salon does not perform the installation, we cannot guarantee the quality or performance of the hair extensions.
Home care for hair extensions is the client's responsibility. Helen will provide you with essential hair care products & instructions for maintaining your extensions at home. Please note that if these guidelines are not adhered to, Helen cannot be held responsible.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and Zelle. Personal checks and Venmo are not accepted.
Price Increases
Helen spends a lot of time investing back into her career to give her guests the best of the best with continued advanced education. Because of this, there is an annual price increase every March on most services by $1-25.
